  10. The Missouri River is the longest river in North America. The Mississippi River is the second-longest river on the North American continent.

  13. The Parana River is the second longest in South America.
  14. The Waikato River is the longest river in New Zealand, running for 264 miles through North Island.
  15. The Onyx River, a meltwater stream during the few months of the Antarctic summer is the longest river in Antarctica. It's just 20 miles in length.

  8. The River Trent is the third-longest river in the United Kingdom after the Severn and the Thames.
  9. The Euphrates is the longest river in Western Asia.
  10. The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.

  12. The Zambezi is the the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean. It is the fourth-longest river in Africa.
